Ok, I kind of cheated... In trying to think up 'd' words, I remembered a drive I went on a
few weeks ago with a friend. Fortunately the sun was shining perfectly, and my friend owns a convertible. We toured all around Bainbridge, mostly stayed around the waterfront and just enjoyed the scenery. I would highly recommend a drive like this if you are visiting Bainbridge. It doesn't take long to drive the circumference of the island, as it is only 27.78 square miles. I think we were out for about and hour or two, but it could be as long or as short as desired!

Take a picnic! There are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for picnicking while enjoying your surroundings. Some that come to mind are Point White, Battle Point Park, Fay Bainbridge, Fort Ward, and Waterfront Park. Even in September, the days are still warm and gorgeous!
